Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP)

The Accelerated Master’s Program enhances existing professional experiences and education to meet new career goals, adding professional components that lead to a nursing master’s degree.

AMP is for students who have received a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing. This accelerated full-time program will lead to a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree specializing in Nursing and Health Systems Administration.

AMP is designed for career changers who wish to become nurses with specialization in nursing and health systems administration. Career changers can apply to the program if they have already completed at least a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed all required prerequisites.

This program is two-tiered, with the first tier resulting in completion of the 15-month undergraduate component that will prepare you to take the nursing licensing exam (NCLEX). The second tier is 12 months of graduate courses resulting in the completion of the Master’s of Science in Nursing with a specialty area of nursing and health systems administration. Graduate courses will be offered primarily online.
