Admission & Costs

Criteria for Admission

Candidates must have a:

  • Bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Required science and math courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher on the first attempt (no withdrawls or repeats).

Applying for Admission

Each cohort will consist of 12-16 candidates. The admission process is composed of two stages. The first step requires the applicant to apply to the university for general admission. Admission to this nursing program is designed to be very selective and is competitive.

2008-2009 Program Costs

Tuition costs for prerequisites will vary depending upon enrollment in day, evening or accelerated divisions.
Undergraduate Day Rate: $847 per credit hour
Undergraduate Evening Rate: $275 per credit hour
Accelerated (SAL): $300 per credit hour
Undergraduate Nursing Rate: $847 per credit hour
AMP: $700.00 per credit hour
