The Parish Nursing
Program at the University of Indianapolis
Our 6-day program includes the Basic Core Curriculum. This
Basic Parish Nurse Preparation Course is based on the curriculum developed
through the International Parish Nurse Resource Center in consultation
with the National League for Nursing (NLN) and the American Nurses Association
(ANA) Credentialing Center. The U of I Parish Nursing Primary
Health Ministry Course has been approved by the Indiana State Nurses
Association for 45 contact hours. Also, the course can be taken for
three hours of BSN or MSN elective credits.
