The state's only university-affiliated forensic nursing certificate program.  Prepares students for the unique physical, psychological, and legal/evidentiary needs of sexual abuse victims.   University of Indianapolis now offers sexual assault forensic nurse courses for BSN prepared RNs. 

Curriculum

NUGR 581	Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner	4 credit hours
NUGR 582	Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Practicum - NUGR 582 must be approved by the clinical instructor prior to the course enrollment. - Additional clinical documentation will be required - NUGR 581 is a co-requisite for NUGR 582	1 credit hour

Nurses that want to register for the SANE course(s) through University of Indianapolis should have earned their BSN degree.
