Associateof Science in Nursing for the Licenced Practical Nurse (ASN for the LPN)
Advantages of attending an ASN program
An Associate of Science in Nursing degree will prepare you for the role of a registered nurse. You will be prepared to work directly with patients suffering from common health problems and help others achieve an optimal level of wellness. An ASN education prepares nurses to use critical thinking in the application of the nursing process as the problem-solving approach to nursing care.
Advantages of attending an ASN program at the University of Indianapolis
As an ASN student at the University of Indianapolis, you will be taught by faculty that have high standards and expectations, but truly care about helping you succeed. They will take time to meet with you outside the classroom, give you advice about class projects and assignments, provide constructive comments about your work, respect your opinions, and encourage you.
Time required to complete degree requirements
The ASN for the LPN program offers a variety of examinations that permit the LPN to establish credit for previous learning. Although all LPN students complete the curriculum pattern for the ASN program, the length of time may vary with testing success.
